Joachim Loew has named Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sven Bender among his squad for Germany’s upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund midfielders missed the national team’s friendly against France last month due to injury, but have both shaken off their recent physical problems to be fit for the clashes against Kazakhstan.

However, Loew will have to make do without the services of the injured Mats Hummels and Holger Badstuber in defence, while Lazio striker Miroslav Klose is unavailable as well.

“I expect us to win both games versus Kazakhstan,” Loew said.

“Kazakhstan choose for a physical approach and they are a good defensive unit. They will do whatever they can to break out rhythm. I’m counting on six points, though.”

Germany will travel to Kazakhstan on March 22, before hosting the same opponent four days later.

Germany squad:
Goalkeepers: Rene Adler, Manuel Neuer, Ron-Robert Zieler
Defenders: Jerome Boateng, Benedikt Hoewedes, Marcel Schmelzer, Philipp Lahm, Per Mertesacker, Heiko Westermann
Midfielders: Lars Bender, Sven Bender, Julian Draxler, Mario Goetze, Ilkay Gundogan, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Sami Khedira, Toni Kroos, Mesut Oezil
Attackers: Lukas Podolski, Mario Gomez, Thomas Mueller, Marco Reus, Andre Schurrle
