Inter have announced the signings of defensive duo Marco Andreolli and Hugo Campagnaro.
Andreolli arrives at San Siro from Chievo on a free transfer, securing a return the club where he began his professional playing career in 2005 before leaving with just seven appearances to his name.
His fellow centre-back Campagnaro, meanwhile, has followed recently appointed head coach Walter Mazzarri from Napoli, the veteran agreeing a one-year stay in Milan.
Andreolli helped Chievo to 12th place in Serie A last season, scoring two goals in his 28 appearances in the Italian top flight.
Campagnaro also played a prominent role in Napoli’s surprise second-placed finish in 2012-13, being handed 27 starts by Mazzarri in Serie A.
The pair will now link up hoping to help Inter improve on a disappointing season which cost manager Andrea Stramaccioni his job.
Inter also revealed on Saturday that 22-year-old forward Denis Alibec will join Bologna on a season-long loan, with Stefano Pioli’s side also given the option to buy half the player’s rights at the end of the campaign.
Alibec spent last season in his native Romania with Viitorul Constanta.
